“I like a man who grins when he fights.” – Winston Churchill
The word Entusiasm finds its origin back in the Greek language. Enthusiasm literally means ‘having the god inside.’ In other words, it is a deep-down confidence of undeniable success despite overwhelming adversity. This enthusiasm often exhibits itself in a “I know something you don’t know” grin.
Churchill had the unwavering foundation of his ideals and convictions. No matter the circumstances the British Bulldog would not give up.
It is with that same enthusiasm we should live our lives. It should come from deep down. It should cause us to grin – in the midst of adversity, in the midst of doubt, and in the midst of our darkest hour.
