Rach and I have continued our string of awesome days. Before I get too far into what all we did today, I want everyone to know thatas soon as we hit LA, we have been walking. We have found that for many of the items that we have wanted to see, it is easier to just walk. That said, as we were walking home from dinner tonight we realized that over the last two days we have walked at least 12 miles, but probably much more than that!
Today we started by walking past the CBS Studios (pictures below)
On our way to The Grove shopping center, which is an outdoor shopping center, much like Easton. The Grove even has a double decker trolley that runs on railroad tracks. It was a beautiful place, and home of some great food. While we were there we had some yogurt at Pinkberry and also watched the movie Eclipse. It was a fantastic morning and early afternoon, as seen in the pictures below.
After The Grove, we came back to the hotel for a rest. Then we got dressed up and headed to a restaurant called Asia de Cuba on the Sunset Strip. On the way there we walked across Melrose Ave, and up a serious hill – we definitely earned dinner. The dinner was out of this world, and our view of the city was extremely romantic. Rachel and I both loved the butterfish, and for dessert we enjoyed a massive bananna split called ‘Bay of Pigs’ on the menu. After dinner we walked back to the hotel, where I am now posting our days activities. Enjoy the pictures and video, and we’ll look forward to sharing tomorrow’s adventures.
