Rach and I spent some time yesterday down at the Beach, Harbor and the Wharf. There are so many stories about the area and to hear from the locals about it is quite fun. While out on the Wharf, Rachel and I made a friend and we talked about all sorts of things. She even told us about the white shark warning in the area and showed us some seals on a buoy (we definitely would have missed it had it not been shown to us).
All in all it was a great day and very relaxing. Here are some pictures.
What about fireworks? Well, Rachel and I found ourselves down for the count by the time they started. So, no pictures of those.
Today is our longest drive on the PCH as we eventually go to San Francisco, but not before spending the night in Monterey. We might not be able to find time to post tomorrow, but you can be sure that there will be plenty of pictures and stories when we do have time!
