My wife and I took a recent trip to Miami. While there, we were lucky enough to stay in a great hotel called The Betsy. It is a great hotel that is on Ocean Drive, but without all the noise.
While we were there, we spent some time doing what we love, hanging out on the beach, people watching, talking and walking, and, of course, eating! One of the highlights of our epicurean part of the Miami trip was a small area call the Historic Spanish Village. It is located on Espanol Way between Washington and Meridian.
The restaurant that Rachel and I tried was called, Hosteria Romana. The food was delicious and the prices were amazing. The location was so whimsical and romantic, that often times I fest like I was sitting in a Mediterranean village, enjoying a wonderful afternoon with my wife.
If you are heading to Miami, then you definitely want to make sure that you stop here. The parking can be rough, as it always is in the Miami beach area. There are parking meters down Espanol Way, and there is also a Valet. Remember when you are in Miami Beach that a Valet, some good walking shoes, and sunscreen are your best friends.
